Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18, she made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was able to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first five minutes. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to take out McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She maintained her dominance, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the initial round, she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd was the winner of the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
