Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. Hello! My name is Anne Phung Nguyen. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who lives with her incredible partner JP and her family in Orange County California. Henry is a happy, go-lucky dad. Many people recognize me as @annephung on Instagram and I write about my journey - from the ups to the downs. When I was in 1990, I moved to America along with my parents and brother at the age of one-and-half. Without my parents' passion for dedication and hard work, I probably wouldn't even share my story. Given the chance to live an improved life I wanted to try the best I could to please them and was focused on achieving my goals. My life was set out for me to attend university, find an employment in a company, marry and buy the house. I thought that was the ultimate definition of success. life had other plans to show me what success meant. It was 2013 when I found that I hated going to work at my corporate job. Status and money did not excite me. I thought I wasted my time to earn money. When I started to take steps toward a new direction in my life, I began to discover that I was a personal trainer and my passion. I'm a sucker for fitness, and I love being around people and helping them. This year I'll be celebrating my 7th Anniversary. In 2014 I began my own small business. As an Asian female working in the field, there are a few. As coach, my mission is to inspire others and empower them to live a healthy and enjoyable life by establishing healthy and sustainable living styles that meet every person's individual needs and desires. Additionally, I would like others to be empowered to follow their dreams and be able to achieve whatever it is they wish for throughout their lives. My professional career began to take off when I was experiencing the most happiness of my life. However, my mother passed away at the same time that my career began to take off. Her eight-year battle with Scleroderma is over, and she lies in Heaven. She will always be in my heart and my mind. It's incredible how life can give us the exact lessons we need even when we do not realize that it is there. Many ways, my mom's death affected me in many ways. I honestly believe that she offered me another chance to live through her demise. Her passing in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was her opportunity to start an entirely new chapter. For me, it was my second chance to live a full and happy life. As I approach my 30s I feel a sense that I am alive and living. I'm not feeling that I'm just another number. As I tell my story, I hope that my story will be a source of inspiration for those of yours. It is my wish that my words will make you aware that you're never truly alone. I believe that you are blessed with the potential to accomplish whatever you want to achieve. As death is all there is in this world I wish you a great time in the rest of your days and live without regrets.
