Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Her style is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she loves dumb action films. Her first review was at the end of 2009 when she became popular in their forum. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She was then invited to be part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. She continued to be a participant on the website through January of 2015, in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! and frequently guest-starred in his show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible kids' films or RiffTrax live shows in addition to the occasional adult-oriented comedy (including of course Baywatch (2017)). Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to write reviews of films and gained popularity in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the group of film critics. Her appearances have included a variety throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
